Sunday Breastplate

Every once in a while, I have the extra time to make a one-of-a-kind breastplate. The Sunday Breastplate, from our Spring 2015 Collection,  is adorned with White Leather, Turquoise Stones, and tiny little sandalwood mala beads.

Breastplates originally were used as protective armor for Native Americans during battles. It wasn't until later on down the road that breastplates lost their functionality in battle, and actually became a way to symbolize status instead. Breastplates were then used, and still are, throughout the Native American culture for dances and ceremonies.

Breastplates are the #1 item that I get asked to customize for clients. If you are ever interested in creating a necklace of your own, please feel free to email me! I will be more than happy to make your necklace vision come to reality ;)

corina // wild & free

All pictures are from the Wild & Free "Home Sweet Home" post

How amazing is this room?! Corina, the designer behind Wild & Free jewelry, just recently showed off her boho-chic bedroom and oh.my.goodness. Jewelry Heaven!! From my experience, long necklaces can always be a pain when organizing and displaying. Her solution...dedicate an entire wall to jewelry!

We even saw our LPOH Eden Ring in White

s t y l e

This weekend was an absolutely beautiful one. My Sunday was spent with my friends and family, as we soaked up the Austin sun. My go-to outfit these days are jeans and a plain shirt. Never underestimate the power of a plain white tee. As for my go-to music it definitely is, and always will be, Mumford & Sons. If you're bored and have a few minutes to waste, watch the interview montage below with the band. It made me fall in love with them even more. Not only are they music geniuses in my mind, but they also seem so down-to-earth and funny!

Outfit includes >> White Tee from Nasty Gal // Just USA High Rise Pants from Beehive // Rehab Bra from Beehive // Sandals from Target // Midnight Wild necklace from Little Pieces of Hope // Thrifted Sunglasses // Feather Journal from Mockingbird Domestics
