High Park Wildfire + Red Cross
Throughout the Summer of 2012 Colorado experienced a multitude of wildfires. Unfortunately one was a little too close to home, as the High Park Wildfire burned over 87, 284 acres around Fort Collins, Colorado. Making it the third largest fire recorded in Colorado history. Thanks to a couple jewelry parties, we were able to raise a few hundred dollars for the Red Cross Colorado Chapters. The money was given to families whose houses burned down, or were evacuated from their homes. It was also given to the heroic firefighters, in terms of drinks and snacks, who worked day and night to get this wildfire contained.
