In early January 2013, we teamed up with CSU Snowriders, and Kids at Heart in Colorado. The Snowriders President, Spencer Kaye, created a fundraiser to help send 25 foster and adoptive children, through Kids at Heart, on a free ski trip. Overall we were able to help raise over $1000, to help pay for transportation fees, and ski/snowboard rentals.

Stories from the Kids at Heart Families
“My children have not stopped talking about snowboarding or the volunteers. They had the best time. My oldest son has a hard time feeling like the other kids. He was able to feel like he belonged.”
“It was his first time skiing and he had a wonderful experience – was so excited to talk about it when he got home one of the first times we heard more about the experience then the food!”
“This was a great experience for our daughter! She thoroughly enjoyed being with the CSU volunteers and the other kids. It was a great way for her to gain some independence and have a wonderful day of skiing! Thanks so much for making this possible!”
