charity: water

Throughout the years Charity: Water has been a huge inspiration for Little Pieces of Hope. It was the very first non-profit we ever teamed up with, and honestly I think it will be a long-term relationship as I just can't seem to get enough of their work!

The first campaign I fundraised for in November 2011, was to help build a water well in Ethiopia. Thanks to my customers and other Charity: Water donations, this village of 320 now has access to clean and safe drinking water. For more pictures, GPS coordinates and all that jazz feel free to check out the completed Campaign page here.

Toward the end of 2013, I again decided to partner up with Charity: Water. This time around I wanted to be a part of the September Campaign. (feel free to watch the video here) After some much hard work, and plenty of support I was able to donate close to $2000 to help build over 100 water wells in India. The completed campaign page is not quite finished yet, but take a look at the progress update here.

In 2014, we rounded up our fundraising troops again for their iconic September Campaign to help bring clean and reliable water wells to the Sahel Region of West Africa. To learn more about this our fundraiser click here.

As tradition follows, we ended our year of 2015 with Charity: Water. This time around we teamed up with them for their Nothing is Crazy campaign to help bring clean water to 60,000 people in need. Take a peek at our campaign page here.

Over the years, we are proud to say we have raised over $5600 for Charity: Water and all their campaigns. Here's to 2016!
