Riley Necklace + Sunday Supply Co.

The Sunday Collection is all about pairing basic apparel with your favorite necklaces.
I know in previous collections, I focused on layering necklaces upon necklaces, but this time around I wanted to strive for minimalism...or Little Pieces of Hope's version of "minimalism."

I wanted the necklaces to stand out on their own, and not have to compete against other items or busy prints. To me, Sundays are all about the basics. Jeans, an over-sized top, slip on shoes, and a simple accessory to tie it all together.

Today's accessory, The Riley Necklace, is one of my favorites from the Spring Line.

If you are in the market for some basic, yet high quality tees I recommend checking out
Sunday Supply Co in Fort Collins, Colorado. How perfect is their name for our Spring Line!?

Not to mention, their boutique is truly amazing! I was so kindly shown this shop by a friend, and was absolutely blown away by its effortless beauty.

small business saturday

Happy Small Business Saturday!

----------------------

Shopping small. A fairly new idea to some, and the only way to shop for others. My favorite part about shopping local, is meeting the people behind the brand. Not only do I enjoy hearing their start up story, but I love seeing the passion behind their eyes when they talk about the things they love.

There are so many benefits to supporting Small Businesses. One of them being, it creates jobs and keeps local residents employed... such as me! Without Small Businesses, Little Pieces of Hope wouldn't be where it is today.

Since starting LPOH I have been graciously greeted by many other small business owners and I honestly can't tell you how thankful I am for them. Small Businesses have helped me live my dream...and for that I am thankful.

One of the second reasons supporting Small Businesses is important, is it keeps your community creative and unique. Small Businesses and brands are the backbone of Austin. For as long as I can remember Austin's city slogan has been "Keep Austin Weird." Thanks to local companies, we can continue to be weird even through all this transition and growth. Small businesses are the ones who helped Leslie find all his extravagant clothing (or lack there of). Small Businesses are the ones who help feed the homeless...and the hung over. Small businesses are the ones who change the world, and for that I am thankful.

LONG LIVE AUSTIN, & LONG LIVE SMALL BUSINESSES!

For the remaining months of Summer, I have decided to make the trek up to Fort Collins, Colorado. Having attended college in Fort Collins, I have only known this city while being a student. This time around, it feels like a completely different ball game. I no longer have to wake up early for my 8am capstone, meet for group projects, or even cram for midterms. Instead I am able to truly soak in what Colorful Colorado has to offer.

While I am here, I am looking to collaborate with local Colorado boutiques and bloggers..this is where I need YOUR help. If you are interested, or know someone who would be interested in a possible collaboration, please message me. I would love to network and meet as many new people as I can :)
