If you live in the Austin area and are looking for something fun to do this weekend, come on out to the Little Pieces of Hope Trunk Show! Cotone on Guadalupe will be hosting the Young, Wild & Free Trunk Show on Saturday from 1-4pm. Not to mention, they just received a HUGE shipment of Summer clothing from brands such as Alternative Apparel, Chaser as well as Mink Pink. So if you are looking for a few new pieces to add to your Summer wardrobe, this is the time and place to go! If I haven't convinced you already, there will even be a Mother's Day special -  Buy 1 item, get the other less expensive item 30% off! Can't go wrong with that!

This will be one of the last trunk shows in Austin for the Young, Wild & Free Collection, as I am packing up my Jeep and moving to Colorado for the Summer. If you are currently living in Colorado and have a favorite farmers market or boutique, please share! I'm looking for all the help I can get when it comes to expanding the brand :)

Hope to see a few of you there on Saturday!

b e z a f l o r

One of my lovely friends, Kelsey Denbow, just opened up her very own Etsy Shop, Bezaflor! I may be biased, but her flower crowns are seriously some of the best in the market right now! They are constructed with a mixture of dried and silk flowers, and are made to fit any head. Each flower crown is finished off with an adjustable lace tie to make sure any head, big or small, will be looking festival ready in a instant!

blueberry + peanut butter smoothie

Recently, I have been trying to make my own smoothies at home because in all honesty, smoothies in Austin are EXPENSIVE! Yeah, they are good, but I can't quite seem to dish out $9-$11 each time I want a delicious treat. So after looking around on Pinterest for a few recipes, I came across one that is definitely my favorite at the moment. It's great for mornings where you just can't find the time to make an elaborate and healthy breakfast. All I do is just throw the ingredients in my NutriBullet (available to buy at Bed, Bath & Beyond) and BOOM a quick and nutritious breakfast on the go!

Blueberry Peanut Butter Smoothie

1 banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup yogurt (I like to use Vanilla Yogurt)
1 cup milk (can substitute w/ Almond Milk if desired)
1 tablespoon Peanut Butter (can substitute with almond butter)
1 teaspoon Honey

If you really want to be a health nut feel free to add
**1 tablespoon flax seed

t u n e s d a y // Chromeo

CHROMEO, OOOOO! I don't know if you have ever been to a Chromeo show, but it's definitely a MUST. This Canadian electrofunk duo was formed back in 2004, and since then has taken dancing music to a whole other level! I had the opportunity to see them back in Denver a few years ago, and oh my goodness was the crowd wild...including myself ;) I mean whoever dances like this, and uses a talk box is way up there in my books. Not to mention, look at their keyboard legs!? Serious game changer, right there.

My Favorites of theirs include
